Month: October 2018

  • Today we’re excited to announce general availability of both SharePoint Server 2019 and Project Server 2019. As we developed SharePoint Server 2019, we paid close attention to trends in team collaboration, user experiences across devices, and how the cloud can be blended into existing on-premises scenarios in new and compelling ways. SharePoint Server 2019 represents a whole new generation of SharePoint, one born in the cloud, and representative of the ease of use we delivered in SharePoint Online. SharePoint Server 2019 was built on the same core platform as SharePoint Server 2016, providing the scale and performance you’ve come to expect in addition to new, modern experiences for users, that are both intuitive and familiar. Microsoft I know many companies still run Sharepoint Onsite despite office 365 glad they made so many improvements.
  • Yet again, Microsoft has had to confirm another issue regarding its Windows 10 October 2018 Update. According to M. Hammer, a Microsoft Agent and Community Moderator, “If you copy files from a .ZIP file without extracting them, they might not be copied or moved correctly, even though it looks like they have been.” There appears to be another known issue with the October 2018 Update the consent prompt for placing unzipped files is missing and results in either misplaced content or no placement at all despite the operation appearing to be complete. This failure can occur in the following scenarios: Copying from a compressed (.zip) folder to a regular folder. Moving from a compressed folder to a regular folder. Copying from a compressed folder to a protected folder. ONMSFT

  • There is a big chance you will have to write a technical research paper as a part of your capstone project or another valuable assignment. Grades received for such projects affect your progress significantly, and if you are genuinely interested in getting that diploma on time, it is better if you know how to write an excellent technical research paper. We can’t promise that with these tips you will be able to write it brilliantly, but we are sure that they will help you get started and keep going. Understand Your Goal Doing research you are looking for answers which theoretically can help to solve some problems. Any research paper has this goal, but, of course, the questions asked and the problem solved depend on the field of study. Defining a purpose of your technical research paper you should not forget about your readers. Ask yourself if the problem you are willing to solve relevant to them and their professional or daily-life experience? Would they relate with the specific direction of study? Of course, you can write a research paper related only to your own ideas, goals, and wishes, but it is much more engaging and gratifying to work on something many people can benefit from. Present Your Professor with a Narrow Topic You should first define several topics related to the goal you have stated earlier. Later, among these topics, you have to choose the most relevant and engaging one and then narrow it narrow it down. Some of the students think that they can do research of the whole universe within one technical research paper, but such miracles just don’t happen. It is better to broaden your topic later if you have ideas and extra time and energy (won’t happen, sorry). Your professor or supervisor should approve your...
