In a modern climate where technological advancements are rapidly progressing, players of games are certainly spoilt in comparison to say twenty odd years ago when, arguably, not many people could have foreseen the huge growth shown since then. Frankly, it’s been amazing. The vast array of consoles on offer is highly impressive also, but choosing the best fit for you and your gaming requirements isn’t always simple. When it comes to PC gaming, for example, the choice can be overwhelming with so many high quality offerings available. A PlayStation or an Xbox gamer, on the other hand, doesn’t really have that headache. • Vehicle trackers are becoming increasingly popular. Since they first reached the marketplace in the late 20th century, businesses and individuals have been turning to them more and more as a way of protecting their mobile assets. While it is true that GPS trackers are most commonly associated with the monitoring of the location of a vehicle, they also have a number of other different features that can be really helpful as well. Here we have put together just 5 things you may not know about GPS Car Trackers. 1. Installing GPS Trackers If you think that installing GPS tracking on your car is complicated, or that it will take a long time then think again. Many people are, in fact, put off GPS tracking devices because they believe that they will take too long to install. Where you install your GPS tracking device does depend on a few things. Obviously, you want the device to be discreet so that potential thieves do not see it. You will also need to ensure that it is installed where interference from other equipment will not present an issue. Fortunately, trackers are now much smaller than they were making all of this much more manageable. If you don’t feel that installing your tracker is something that you can do, there are companies that can do it for you. 2. They Are Very Accurate Another thing that really surprises people about modern GPS Tracking devices is just how accurate they are. Most of the GPS devices that you can purchase for your car are accurate to within just three metres. This really allows users to gain relatively precise location information. Obviously, there are exceptions. In low-accuracy areas, you can get negatively affected results. However, modern technology is such that it has evolved to ensure both...
  • Design evolution is at the heart of technology in motion. In order to improve something, you must change its main configuration. That explains why phones are slimming down, computer displays continue to get thinned up, and USB-C ports are now the future. Chances are, you’ve already encountered a USB-C. It’s the oblong connector used in most phone chargers today. Some hard- and flash-drive brands also now sport USB-C design. Unlike the familiar rectangular shape of USB types A and B, the USB-C is conveniently reversible (or flippable), forever doing away with the annoyance of failing to connect your cable to the port after multiple unsuccessful attempts. And with improved design comes better functionality. USB-C transmits data and power at an incredibly fast rate and is further linked with advanced computing tech like Intel’s Thunderbolt 3. This guide will help you answer the most common questions about USB-C. What Is USB-C? When you hear about a USB, you probably automatically think about USB Type A connectors, which are rectangular and have been used for many years since the dawn of the computing era. These connectors are used to pass data and power from one computing device to another. Just like USB Type A, the USB-C does the same job but does so relatively faster than its predecessors. But what makes it special is how it aims to be the standard for computing connectivity. It wants to be the universal replacement for both ends of the cable. Furthermore, the USB-C is inspiring a new line of devices that takes advantage of the USB-C’s full capability, which may help usher in a new age for faster computing. What Devices Support the USB-C? The first devices that sported USB-C connection capability include the Nokia N1 and Apple’s 12-inch MacBook. These devices, especially the latter,...

    Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 Review

I recently purchased a Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 to replace the aging HP that I have been using to test and work on Windows 10. Microsoft has been pushing the Microsoft Surface brand for many years now and has become one of the top five computer manufacturers in the world by selling only premium Microsoft Surface laptops and tablets to consumers. I really like the Surface Laptop 2 as it’s a big improvement over my Surface Pro 3 and my HP laptop for one the screen is better with the 2256 x 1504 (201ppi) this is a huge jump for me over my HP. I find the display very sharp and the fact that its touchscreen does make me favor it over my MacBook Pro for reading. I got the Intel i7 which is a great processor and I am guessing that Microsoft will release the Surface Laptop 3 or make an upgrade to the Surface Laptop 2 to allow the Intel i9 as Apple did recently. I was surprised as well that I cannot add more than 16 gigs of ram to this computer there is no option on the Microsoft Site I am again guessing that may be an option for the next model. I did get a 512 Solid State Drive to make sure I had enough storage I thought the 1 TB might be overkill and decided to save a little money considering the 1 TB drive added another $500 dollars to the already $2,000 purchase. I did order my Surface Laptop 2 with Window 10 Pro you can order it with Windows 10 Home and save a few dollars on the cost I would rather pro personally. I like how the front-facing camera is 720p Windows Hello facial authentication since I plan on using Windows...

Moving From iPhone 8 to the iPhone XS

I decided to make the jump from my iPhone 8 plus to the iPhone XS. I have had almost every iPhone S series since the iPhone 4 S. I am not one to grab the first generation of any device, that’s why I have always waited for the S year of an iPhone release. Since I have started with the iPhone, I have been loyal to Apple because the phone is reliable and has great support. Screen Size And Price Are Always An Issue I went with the iPhone XS, not the XS max because it came down to the price I had an iPhone 8 plus and the iPhone XS is the same screen size.  The iPhone XS max gives you the extra on the top and bottom of the screen when the button and camera used to be on the plus models. In this case, spending 1,000 dollars on a 64 meg phone is enough for me to spend plus trade in of my old iPhone 8 plus which was in perfect condition just made the price point right for me and my budget. I know the iPhone XS max is only a hundred dollars more than the iPhone XS but I usually upgrade after I get to the 50% to 75% pay off amount since I am on Verizon. The screen is big enough for me personally on the iPhone XS where at times the iPhone 8 plus got a little bit too big for me. Maybe down the road, I will get a bigger screen but right now iPhone XS is the perfect size for me. Display Quality And Cameras Sell Phones The first thing I noticed is the screen on the iPhone XS is way better than the iPhone 8 Plus. The super retina HD...
  • Technology is continually evolving, and printers and printing mechanisms are no different. There are tons of different types of printers, but there are two types that remain constantly debated: inkjet printers and laser printers. These two printer types are manufactured by nearly every printer company there is, from HP to Canon and everything beyond. They are dependable, easy to use, and affordable to manufacture and purchase. But, between these two, which printing style is better? How do you decide between an inkjet and a laser printer? Let’s break down pros and cons of both for mass production at your business. The Inkjet Printer: Pros and Cons The inkjet printer is one of the earliest printer types, spanning all the way back to the 1950s. Much like the name suggests, it recreates images by propelling ink droplets onto paper or other substances. Inkjet printers truly found their form in the 1970s when major printer companies like Epson, HP, and Canon took up their printing style and began mass-producing them. Since their development, they have quickly become the most widely purchased type of printer for home usage, as well for big businesses. Part of this success is because during the inkjet printer’s boom, ink cartridges were relatively easy to find. They might not seem cost effective, but ink cartridges last quite a long time. Ink cartridges are as still as widely produced as these printers, and still quite easy to find. If you’re a big business in Australia, you can easily find ink cartridges Perth or Sydney has to offer in local warehouses. Ink manufacturers are still around the entire country. No matter where you live cartridges are relatively simple to replace, and can be bought in mass quantities in-stores and online retailers. Inkjet Pros: Easy to find Reliable Affordable Can last...
