Moving From iPhone 8 to the iPhone XS

I decided to make the jump from my iPhone 8 plus to the iPhone XS. I have had almost every iPhone S series since the iPhone 4 S. I am not one to grab the first generation of any device, that’s why I have always waited for the S year of an iPhone release. Since I have started with the iPhone, I have been loyal to Apple because the phone is reliable and has great support. Screen Size And Price Are Always An Issue I went with the iPhone XS, not the XS max because it came down to the price I had an iPhone 8 plus and the iPhone XS is the same screen size.  The iPhone XS max gives you the extra on the top and bottom of the screen when the button and camera used to be on the plus models. In this case, spending 1,000 dollars on a 64 meg phone is enough for me to spend plus trade in of my old iPhone 8 plus which was in perfect condition just made the price point right for me and my budget. I know the iPhone XS max is only a hundred dollars more than the iPhone XS but I usually upgrade after I get to the 50% to 75% pay off amount since I am on Verizon. The screen is big enough for me personally on the iPhone XS where at times the iPhone 8 plus got a little bit too big for me. Maybe down the road, I will get a bigger screen but right now iPhone XS is the perfect size for me. Display Quality And Cameras Sell Phones The first thing I noticed is the screen on the iPhone XS is way better than the iPhone 8 Plus. The super retina HD...
  • Technology is continually evolving, and printers and printing mechanisms are no different. There are tons of different types of printers, but there are two types that remain constantly debated: inkjet printers and laser printers. These two printer types are manufactured by nearly every printer company there is, from HP to Canon and everything beyond. They are dependable, easy to use, and affordable to manufacture and purchase. But, between these two, which printing style is better? How do you decide between an inkjet and a laser printer? Let’s break down pros and cons of both for mass production at your business. The Inkjet Printer: Pros and Cons The inkjet printer is one of the earliest printer types, spanning all the way back to the 1950s. Much like the name suggests, it recreates images by propelling ink droplets onto paper or other substances. Inkjet printers truly found their form in the 1970s when major printer companies like Epson, HP, and Canon took up their printing style and began mass-producing them. Since their development, they have quickly become the most widely purchased type of printer for home usage, as well for big businesses. Part of this success is because during the inkjet printer’s boom, ink cartridges were relatively easy to find. They might not seem cost effective, but ink cartridges last quite a long time. Ink cartridges are as still as widely produced as these printers, and still quite easy to find. If you’re a big business in Australia, you can easily find ink cartridges Perth or Sydney has to offer in local warehouses. Ink manufacturers are still around the entire country. No matter where you live cartridges are relatively simple to replace, and can be bought in mass quantities in-stores and online retailers. Inkjet Pros: Easy to find Reliable Affordable Can last...

How does a POS System work?

A POS System is not a separate device – it is a set-up of devices that together ensure an efficient and easy checkout process. The set-up can of course vary enormously, depending on your brand choice, which payment methods you accept, whether you print paper receipts and how you do your accounting. Let’s go back to basics and talk about how customer payments are processed, what a POS System consists of and a number of options. Checkout systems then and now About 30 years ago, a POS system was not much more than a cash register. The first POS Systems did not even “know” what a product cost. The cashier then had to manually enter the prices per product. Then the cashier put the money in the cash drawer and gave the customer a receipt. In some cases, this receipt was the only evidence that the transaction ever took place. As POS System became more modern, more software was introduced. Products were stored on a database and barcodes were introduced, so that prices no longer had to be entered manually. The sales history was also recorded later. Today, POS systems are much more extensive. Some entrepreneurs still use checkouts as described above, but many have switched to advanced checkout systems that keep track of everything online. Most important parts of a POS System Modern POS systems consist of hardware and software. Software is the part that records, processes and stores transactions. There are many different ways in which POS systems do this. Software All modern POS Software has a POS System for control and a data system for the underlying sales history and settings. The staff uses the POS System, usually a touch screen or tablet, to process payments. The data system can be viewed via the internet or an app. Whichever POS System you use, these two systems...

This article works you through to help you not only understand how Bluetooth earpieces work but to also make sense of why you should use one to maximize your work productivity. How Does Bluetooth Earpieces Work?   Bluetooth earpieces work by transmitting infrared signals or radio signals. They connect or pair with the device you want to use it for. A caveat though, all of these devices must be Bluetooth enabled for the pairing to take place (Don’t be discouraged though, you can get a Bluetooth transmitter if your device isn’t Bluetooth enabled). The devices you’re connecting them to must also be in close proximity to each other. Most Bluetooth earpieces have ranges of about 30ft. The Technology Behind a Live Casino

Online casinos are a great alternative for those that don’t or maybe can’t make it to a land-based casino, and of course, playing online has its advantages. However, one thing that was significantly lacking from the experience in its early stages was the atmosphere of an actual casino, seen as one of the perks for most people. That was until live casinos were introduced. Over the past decade, live casinos have really taken off and with its increase in popularity, it’s advanced somewhat too. From the humble beginnings of one dealer and one game, live blackjack, you can now play a wide variety of live games including roulette, poker and baccarat, and even side games while you’re waiting for your particular live game to start. It truly is a 24 hour a day, seven days a week business. Key Elements of a Live Casino A live studio, where the games are filmed (this could be either location-based or a live casino studio) A software area, where all the game’s technicalities are handled An analyst’s area The Technology Involved Webcams Webcams play a vital role in the delivery of a live casino experience since they are used to capture all of the action. Even the cameras have developed over time, from big cameras that streamed the feed, to smaller cameras today which capture every aspect of the game. Of course, multiple cameras are used to catch different angles and courtesy of Optical Camera Recognition Technology, players can follow every bit of action of the game, as well as all elements of the studio. Live dealer The use of a real-life dealer helps to enhance the casino atmosphere, which is lacking from ordinary online games. But advances in technology also mean that the dealer’s every move is tracked, so that players can...
  • Those who belong in the construction industry are quite confident that it’s one of the few sectors that would continue to evolve. This has been proven by the fact that the adoption of technology continues to increase, however, a lot still resists in fully investing their time or money. Instead, they are testing the waters first by spending little by little with hopes that they would be able to reap the results in the long run. What they fail to realize is that improved project outcomes could only be enjoyed if one would familiarize himself with the individual applications and devices that are currently available in the market. Through this, they will be able to realize how technologies are working hand in hand with the construction industry for a brighter future. With these processes, it is believed that it would be able to supplant the majority of standalone systems that are now dominating the construction industry. As technology improves the design and construction process, one should also understand that it’s also an integral part of a broader strategic platform. In today’s world, there are plenty of technologies, software, and devices that are proven to be very useful especially on large-scale building and infrastructure projects. To give you a better idea, here are some of the ways engineering and construction tech work together. Laser Scanning for Better Assessment Laser scanning offers some benefits. One of which is that it provides enormous efficiency when it comes to site monitoring or as-built conditions. Additionally, field measurements done with laser scanners could capture every detail, meaning it leaves no room for errors. Likewise, they are also proven to be entirely accurate that you’ll have the idea of the conditions of the space or the facility. This can be very useful whenever you have to...
