In a move that is not surprising Apple is removing all vaping apps from the app store. This comes as no surprise as Apple who is very health conscious has been launching health studies all over the world and using their health tech to help people live longer healthier lives.

Axios reports

“Amid growing health concerns over e-cigarettes, Apple will remove all 181 vaping-related apps from its mobile App Store this morning. Why it matters: The move comes after at least 42 people have died from a vaping-related lung illness, per the CDC. Most of those people had been using cartridges containing THC, though some exclusively used nicotine cartridges.”

Apple has never allowed the sale of vape cartridges directly from vaping apps in the app store and recently in June stopped accepting new vaping apps into the App Store. Apple vaping apps now are allowed to let people control the temperatures and lighting of their vape pens while others provided vaping-related news, social networks, and games.

If you should already have a vaping app on your iPhone or iPad will be able to continue using the app and install it on new devices. Apple is setting a welcome example and helping to push their health initiate forward under the leadership Tim Cook a health and fitness enthusiast.
