The Anker Soundcore Vortex Headphones are without a doubt are a surprise for me as tech enthusiast and audiophile. To start with the Anker Soundcore Vortex Headphones were an on sale from Walmart as a special for $59.99 (usually retailing for $69.99) when I bought a new iRig microphone to do my podcast. I was not expecting much from these headphones at that price point and I was surprisingly wrong.

The Anker Soundcore Vortex Headphones are blue tooth and represent lows, mids, highs with crisp tones and deep bass which is surprising for a low-cost pair of over the head headphones. The headphone cans are well cushioned and feel great on your ear and are pretty stylish. The Soundcore Vortex Headphones have no noise cancelation or ambient noise amplification but for the price, I am not surprised.

The Soundcore Vortex Headphones Bluetooth pairing is very easy and pair well with both my Mac and Windows Surface book with no cutting out or choppy sound. The headphone controls are very basic only volume, power and change track.

The Soundcore Vortex Headphones are great for transport they fold up and come with a very good case for transport to keep them safe in my laptop bag. They charge via MicroUSB and come with a short cable to charge them but not a power brick so you must provide your own or plug them into the computer to charge. They do not have a built-in mic so if you get a phone call you cannot answer the call on the headphones while other more expensive models have this feature these do not.

I found the Soundcore Vortex Headphones well made and durable. For the price of these headphones, you are getting a great piece of hardware at a great price. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a great pair of Bluetooth headphones at a great price.
