Microsoft is launching a big new feature for the Xbox One today, introducing integration for Amazon Alexa as well as Cortana. The company is releasing a new Xbox Skill that lets Alexa and Cortana users control their Xbox One with their voice. You can turn on/off your console, take screenshots, launch apps/games, and more with the new Xbox Skill for Alexa and Cortana.
To go along with the launch of the new Xbox Skill, Microsoft is giving away a free Amazon Echo Dot with the purchase of an Xbox One X or Xbox One S. The deal is only available through Amazon for customers in the United States, and it will only be available till supplies last. It’s not available right now, but Microsoft says the deal will go live in the coming days.
