MoviePass — the $9.95 all-you-can-watch cinema buffet — said Wednesday that it has surpassed the 1 million member threshold.
That’s quite a meteoric rise from August when MoviePass was a $50 a month niche service with about 20,000 subscribers.
But then the company slashed its monthly fee $9.95 and movie lovers started knocking down the door — which an average of 8,000-plus subscribers a day signing up.
If you go to a lot of movies $9.95 a month is worth the price.
