got released on the PlayStation this past week, PlayStation 4 and 5. And a lot of people in the

I mean, you had games like the pre-orders

for Grand Theft Auto and stuff like that,

that were doing very, very well in the PlayStation Store.

And now, you know, Call of Duty 1 and 2,

There’s cross play on them.

They’ve really been a big, big hit on PlayStation.

and Xbox hasn’t gotten them yet,

is people that sign up for to see that one particular sport,

that one particular team. So that’s why it’s here in America, it’s a very big

business to have live sports and not a huge sports person myself, but I could

see how, especially as somebody who likes wrestling specifically, wrestling is

usually a live event. To watch live pay-per-views, you either have to have

ESPN Unlimited or you have to be on Netflix internationally and I know and like Monday

Night Raw if you want to watch Monday Night Raw you have to have Netflix but the PLEs the

premium live events are on ESPN Ultimate but yet Smackdown’s over on you know Peacock

so it’s even just as a wrestling fan and then you have obviously AW which is on HBO and

And then if you want to watch T&A, you have to have AMC Plus or the T&A Plus app.

Even in entertainment like that, live entertainment like that, it’s very segmented.

And it makes it sometimes a little bit difficult as a fan when you want to watch these things

that, man, I have to have all these services.

So that’s where, and there is something called subscription fatigue.

America especially are getting to the point where they don’t want to keep

paying for all these subscriptions so it’s it’s getting to be you know there’s

a break point eventually where you know people say oh well I’m not gonna spend

money on that service anymore and or the or what the way or the new thing is

what a lot of people are doing now is to say, “Okay, well, let’s wait till all the Game

of Thrones episodes are released.

We’ll order HBO for a month, binge watch that on that service, and then cancel it.”

And or the wait until they have a couple of things they want on the service, and then

get the service for a month, binge watch it, and they want to watch it and cancel it.

That’s coming to be the new thing, and its attrition rates are not great.

Apple actually is one that has, they said some of the largest attrition rates in America

because people sign up, watch what they want to watch and then cancel it.

Apple’s turnover on Apple TV subscriptions isn’t great.

Not the thing Apple is doing, they’re gonna be just fine, but their turnover rate on people

thing that helps people stay on these services and that’s what Apple is trying to do with

their service with Formula One and the baseball and now soccer obviously, soccer or something

They’re trying to get some live sports on there so that they can try to lower that attrition

rate and that’s, I mean sports are what does that and in America anyway and that’s why

So again, it’s a pretty neat thing when you start looking at description services and

over here in America, we really can’t get BBC shows.
