I have been interested in survival, preparedness, Outdoors, Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Weapons for over 5 years. Having been a boy scout I know my way in the woods, I got into hunting a few years ago and became a radio operator about year ago.

I have some very strong opinions on the state of the world today as well as a true conviction that we all have a responsibility to prepare for what lie’s ahead.  The world is an ever changing place and threats exist at all levels. It is my belief that preparing for possible emergencies and disasters is the best way to combat that threat and keep your families safe.
With the current world economic troubles as well as the increasing threat of nuclear terrorism – NOW is the time to start getting ready. Don’t get caught in a situation where you are saying “I wish I had prepared for this when I had time…..I wish I had done something to protect my family.”

Preparing for bad times ahead in order to protect yourself and your family is becoming more and more important. I like to use this blog to communicate some of my beliefs regarding survival and preparedness as well as provide information.

I became a ham radio operator after being involved in hurricanes as seeing how ham radio operators still were able to communicate despite cell phones, phone lines and power being out.  Most radio operator have go kits and ready to go at the drop of a hat.

I have always been involved in camping and I mean ruffing it in a tent and sleeping bag in wood no camp ground.  I always in enjoyed getting up early and going fishing to catch my breakfast.  But recently I got involved with bow hunting and have come to enjoy the thrill of the hunt and killing your own game to feed your self and others.

I enjoy sharing survival information as well as just regular outdoor tips that any good camper or hunter should know.  Survival is not just being in woods looking for food it preparedness for living as well taking care of your body, finances and being informed about the things around you (Politics, Climate, etc).
