I figured it’s been a while since my last health update, so I figured I would just update everyone on my health. I recently upgraded to the Fitbit Charge 2 which was a major update from the Fitbit Flex 2.

I have dropped weight from 287 to 264 since the fourth of July. I have made many life changes the first one has to do with the Fitbit itself like setting 2 goals a day one for 5000 steps the other for 10000 steps. I have set the Fitbit to remind me every hour to move a certain number of steps which for me can be an issue while I am at work. I have started messing with the Fitbit community competing in the work week hustle and the weekend warrior competitions. For me, I need that stuff to help push me to move and lose weight.

I have made other changes not relevant to technology for starters I have started the 12 hour fast. While I am not a huge fan of fasting, it has been a major help. I usually eat breakfast around 8 and finish eating dinner around 7 or 8 at night. So, I adjust my 12 hour fast to accommodate this life change.

I have made other changes to my diet. I first have given up junk food no more salami, cheese, pepperoni, chips, and cookies. Instead for snacks, I eat fruit grapes, apples, pineapples, grapefruit, and watermelon are my snakes of choice.

Coffee! The Coffee! Those of you who know me I am a huge coffee drinker. Coffee is my beverage of choice decaffeinated or regular it’s my beverage to drink during the day. So how do I cut these calories down? I drink fat-free creamer or no fat creamer. I know cutting it out completely would help me lose weight faster, but I never drink or smoke so to a certain point you have to live.

The big change has been the carb cutting. Notice I said carb cutting not carb free. I have been trying a low carb most days except for my family’s pizza night once a week. These few things have been a big help but for me to completely cut out carbs would be very difficult, and I think a bit of a problem for me.

I am happy so far with the weightless and my clothing is getting to the point where my pants and shirts are too big to fit me. That makes me happy. By my next update, I hope to have more good news and tips.
