chromebook

Looks like a laptop, feels like a laptop…

But Chromebooks are a new type of computer designed to help you get things done faster and easier. They run Chrome OS, an operating system that gives you the best of Google apps, security built-in, easy central management and other features that make them an improvement on traditional computers.

Best of Google
Chromebooks have Google apps and other web apps built-in for everyday tasks. Traditional computers often require you to buy additional software separately.

Cloud storage
Chromebooks have a cloud storage service called Google Drive built-in so you can save your work safely in the cloud. Traditional computers often require you to back up your files manually.

Security
Chromebooks are designed from the ground up with security in mind, so you’ll be safe from viruses and malware. Traditional computers often require you to buy and install security software separately.

Speed
Chromebooks boot up in less than ten seconds and don’t slow down. Traditional computers may take thirty seconds or more, and often slow down over time

Upgrades
Chromebooks update themselves automatically, for free, so you always get the latest software and security updates. Traditional computers require you to purchase and install updates manually.

Connectivity
Chromebooks offer features like 3G, free Gogo Inflight passes and offline apps for when you’re disconnected from the web. Traditional computers can use software offline, but just like Chromebooks, you won’t be able to surf the web when you’re offline.
